Potency

Potency testing measures both the detection of cannabinoids and gives a quantitative level down to parts per million. Understanding the potency values of particular cannabinoids in a product is crucial for determining its strengths and uses.

Clinical Science Laboratory tests for 11 cannabinoids. These include the following: ∆9THC, ∆8THC, THCA-A, CBN, CBD, CBDA, CBC, CBDV, CBG, CBGA, and THCV. By utilizing both LC-UV and LC-MS in-line (LC-UV-MS), we deliver the most accurate results possible.

Cannabinoids are a naturally occurring compound found in cannabis plants, primarily C. sativa and its subspecies. Over 60 different cannabinoids have been extracted from cannabis. Of these cannabinoids, the most well-known and common is delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta9-THC, Δ9-THC).  Phytocannabinoids (those which are derived from plants) are present in hemp, and marijuana. Contact us to test your hemp and hemp products to verify that samples do not exceed the 0.3% total THC threshold.
