Clinical Science Laboratory, Inc. is accredited to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for the purposes of cannabis testing, ensuring methods are fully validated and independently reviewed.
DEA Schedule I - V
Clinical Science Laboratory, Inc. is registered with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the handling of controlled substances. We are authorized to handle Schedule I through Schedule V drugs. As of December 31, 2022, the USDA requires laboratories to be registered with the DEA in order to conduct THC testing in Hemp.

Clinical Science Laboratory, Inc. (CSL) is a CAP Accredited reference, drug testing, and toxicology laboratory which first opened its doors to the world in 1974.
With almost 50 years of expertise at the helm, CSL has been standing at the forefront of clinical laboratory testing. With all that experience CSL stands to deliver some of the fastest turn-around times in the country.

Potency testing measures both the presence of cannabinoids (fingerprinting) and gives a quantitative level above a certain threshold. Understanding the potency values of particular cannabinoids is therefore not only compulsory, but it’s also crucial for determining the product’s strengths and uses.
Terpene testing determines the presence and levels of these volatile compounds that are partially responsible for cannabis’s aromatic properties. Identifying the terpenes present in a sample adds to its unique identity and it is information that consumers often desire.
Heavy metal testing determines the presence and level of toxic heavy metals. Detecting the level of heavy metals in hemp-based products ensures that the products are safe for human consumption or use.
Residual solvent testing measures the presence and level of residual solvents in hemp products following liquid extractions. Identifying these remaining solvents and their respective levels in client products ensures that the product is safe for human consumption.
Pesticide testing measures the presence and level of pesticides remaining on hemp and hemp products. Identifying the presence of enduring pesticides in client products ensures that the product is safe for human consumption.
Mycotoxin testing measures the presence and levels of mycotoxins produced by molds and other fungi growing in or around hemp. Identifying the presence of mycotoxins in client products ensures that the product is safe for human consumption.
Microbial contaminant testing measures the presence and levels of microbes in cannabis products. Identifying a lack of microbial contaminants in client products helps to ensure that the product is safe for human use.
